Kelly came to Bella Voi as a new mom in her early 30’s and worked in the Healthcare Industry. With the demands of her career and new baby she felt "frumpy" and not always sure if what she was wearing was flattering for her body type.
Discovering she was a winter palette, Kelly had many wonderful bright and bold colors to work with. I was so excited to see her "wear her colors" so well! She’s a "knockout" in this bright green topper coat paired with jeans and a green/white collared shirt. The style worked well for her triangle shape and the color brought attention to her top half and minimized her bottom. The black pointed toe shoes with antique silver hardware elongated her silhouette and the black oversize clutch can be used as a small briefcase or a fashionable bag. The black chunky necklace brought out the luster and shine of her silky black hair and accented her dark eyes.
I also pointed out to Kelly that sometimes wearing her "strong" winter colors can be intimidating, especially is she is teaching and wants the audience to participate. To that point we chose a medium gray suit which is still authoritative and toned it down with a grey/blue blouse with a hint of sheen. This look is a little more "relaxed" yet very professional. Kelly is a natural classic personality and likes wearing a suit. Comfort is very important to her. The silver lattice work necklace has a delicate quality that matched her blouse and suited her personality.
Kelly needed a "functional" yet affordable wardrobe so for an evening affair we choose this black wrap dress which can be worn in many different ways long after her special party is over. We "dressed up" a very practical dress with elegant accessories. Her necklace was gunmetal with several fine delicate chain layers with some clear shiny stones which caught the light and brought attention to her lovely face and complexion.
The bracelet was antique silver with clear stones which linked to her necklace and her evening bag and the silk metallic shawl looked very sophisticated. Her shoes had sequins and conveyed a "festive" quality. She looked and felt amazing!
